Trepuco is a massive taula thirteen feet high and it is one of the tallest in Menorca. T shaped, it looks like a table. The taula is in a compound and there are talayots close by. Taulas are thought to have been used for religious ceremonies whilst talayots were probably homes. The site was excavated by archaeologists in 1931. The compound wall was widened in the 1780s to mount guns.
