The Victor Hugo House is a 17th Century house where Victor Hugo stayed when he visited Pasaia in 1843. Overlooking the sea, the house is furnished to reflect the period when the writer stayed here, and the museum also illustrates the trades of Pasaia in the mid 19th Century. An interactive exhibition tells the story of Victor Hugo`s life and the Romantic Movement, whilst from the building`s balconies are inspiring views.
