Located beneath the Palacio Villardompardo, these 11th Century Moorish baths are claimed to be the largest in Spain. The Christians used them as a tannery before the palace was built over them in the 16th Century, and they were not rediscovered until 1913. In the 1980s they were restored to their original appearance. The baths interior features horseshoe arches, a ceiling with tiny star shaped windows and two ceramic vats used for bathing. Entry is through the palace.
