La Caleta de Famara has a two mile long, beautiful sandy beach below high cliffs. The beach offers superb views of the Island of La Graciosa and there are also sand dunes. This is a popular beach for wind surfing but swimming is dangerous because of the strong currents. The small resort has a few seafood restaurants and it s frequently visited by artists.
