The Platja de Lloret is Lloret De Mar`s main beach and it is over one mile long and composed of fine sand. At the north-eastern end is a 1930s mock castle. This popular Blue flag beach has showers, toilets and vigilance posts and flags indicate the state of the sea. There are restaurants, bars and ice cream stalls. Parasols, sun loungers and pedal boats can be hired.
