On the south side of Doromas Park is a model Canary Island village with a complex of buildings designed to display the best features of Canarian architecture. It was built in the 1930s to the plans of Nestor Martin Fernandez de la Torre. There is a courtyard with small shops selling handicrafts such as tablecloths and musical instruments. Traditional folk dancing takes place here on Sundays.
