The Catedral de Santa Maria is a splendid Romanesque building that dates from the 12th Century. The western facade is decorated in the Lombard style. Inside, the nave has cruciform columns and there are murals in the south transept whilst in the central apse is a 13th Century Romanesque statue of the Virgin and Child. In the 13th Century cloisters are capitals of humans and animals, and a door gives entry to the 11th Century Eglesia de Sant Miquel.
