The massive Cathedral of Jerez De La Frontera was built in a mixture of styles and contains five aisles. It is on the site of a former mosque and has a separate 15th Century Mudejar bell tower. Above the transept is a cupola decorated with bas-reliefs of the Evangelists whilst the sacristy contains a work of Zurburan. Near the cathedral is a statue of Manuel Maria Gonzalez Angel who founded the wine storehouse Bodegas Gonzalez Byass.
