Located near the sea front, the museum is devoted to the history of Lloret De Mar, and it is housed in the former residence of the Garriga family, Indianos. The family returned to Lloret after becoming wealthy in Cuba, and the top floor of the museum displays their furnishings, which are a curious mix of Catalan and Modernist styles, influenced by their colonial past. Hardwood rescued from demolished houses has been used to make model ships. There is also a display of photographs of old Lloret.
