The Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion was built in the 18th Century on the site of an earlier church that was destroyed by earthquakes. The present Baroque church, designed by architects Diego Nicolas and Ventury Rodriguez, has a grand facade with two onion shaped towers and a dome. Inside are three aisles and fine sculptures. Music is frequently played here. Considered one of the finest churches on the island, it is a listed building.
