Standing high on the hill Puig de Misa, the Church of Sant Miquel is one of the oldest on the island. It was built in a defensive position as a protection from pirates. The church has a barrel vaulted nave and there are restored 17th Century frescoes in the Chapel of Beniras. Below them is decorated stone work. The church is near the village square from where there are fine views of the surrounding pine forests.
