The Church of Santiago el Real stands near the bridge spanning the River Ebro. It is on the Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. Built in the 16th Century, it is in the Gothic style. On the south side, above the entrance, is a massive 18th Century statue of St James on a stallion. Inside is a polychrome wooden retablo.
