The whitewashed Church of Santo Domingo stands in a pleasant shady square. The building dates from the 17th Century and it was built to replace the earlier church that was destroyed by the Dutch army during a raid in 1599. This Baroque church has some interesting features including sculptures and altarpieces by Lujan Perez. In the square is a fountain that was built at the same time as the church.
