The Parque Ecologico Los Aquila del Teide houses many different kinds of birds, including parrots, penquins, pelicans and flamingos. During the day are several bird shows, including an eagle show when the birds fly. These may not take place on windy days. There are some animals such as pygmy hippos. Other attractions at this family orientated park include dodgems and a bobsleigh run. Cafes and restaurants can be found in the park.
