Enciso is a small, remote village known for its dinosaur footprints. They were made in the Cretaceous period over 100 million years ago and they can be seen embedded in rocks near Enciso. There is a small visitor centre in the village with an audio-display and you can obtain information about the sites where they can be seen. There are prints left by iguanodons, allosaurus and brachiosaurus. Guided visits may be possible at weekends.
