Inca is a large, industrial town known for its leather goods. Thursday is market day and stalls line the streets and squares selling everything imaginable from flowers to household goods. There are plenty of leather items, such as shoes, jackets and handbags as well as lace, jewellery and souvenir pieces made from the wood of the olive tree. Inca is also known for its cuisine and the old wine cellars that are now restaurants.
