La Antilla is a small seaside resort with a long sandy beach and a promenade. It is popular for windsurfing and other water sports. The beach stretches from the Rio Piedras in the east to the Isla Cristana in the west. A spit lies at the mouth of the River Piedras and it is a protected area with a nature reserve. La Antilla has several seafood restaurants and an attractive Mudejar church.
