L`Alfas del Pi is an attractive town lying at the foot of the Sierra Helada about a mile or two inland from Albir beach. The town`s symbol is a pine tree and the most interesting building is the 18th Century church. There is an outdoor market every Friday which is known for its leather goods such as shoes as well as locally grown fresh vegetables. The town holds a film festival every July and other cultural events are held throughout the year.
