The Marques de Riscal Bodega was founded in 1860 by a marquis who had spent some time in France. He continued to learn about making wine from French experts. The present bodega is modern although there is an old historic collection. Frank Gehry of Guggengheim Museum in Bilboa designed a new visitor`s complex with an exhibition centre and restaurant.
