The Parroquia de San Pedro is the church that belonged to the old convent of Saint Francis. It dates from the early 13th Century and the monastery`s dining hall, kitchen and cloister are now part of the Provincial Museum. The church is in the Gothic style with a single nave and inside are wooden ceilings. There are high pointed windows and in the side apses you can see old tombs with sculptures. The church is a venue for concerts during the Corpus Christi Music Festival.
