The Plaza de la Constitucion is a pleasant square with bars, cafes, trees and views overlooking the town buildings of La Orotava. It is a good place to relax after exploring. On the north side of the square is the 17th Century St Augustine church and abbey. It has a splendid facade with a Baroque portal. Inside, the church has a fine ceiling and interesting furnishings. The abbey is now a music school.
