The Praza de Campo is a beautiful square in the old quarter of Lugo. It is in the shape of a triangle and in the centre is a lovely fountain. During the medieval era the square was a busy market place and several structures hae been preserved from this period. Some of the columns were originally part of Roman buildings. The houses were remodelled in the Baroque style during the 18th Century by wealthy owners.
