The Provincial Museum is housed in the former Monasterio de San Francisco, and on the ground floor is a typical Galician kitchen. In the cloister are collections of Roman mosaics, sundials, sacred art and tombstones. On the first floor is a fine display of torcs, as well as Bronze Age pieces, and a Roman collection, and coins.The Galacian art collection includes ceramics from Sargadelos as well as 19th and 20th Century paintings and sculpture.
