The Rosalia de Castro Park lies outside the city walls and here you will find a garden with many trees and fountains. The park was created in the early 20th Century and it contains over one hundred species of shrubs and trees as well as a pond, a bandstand and a children`s playground. The park has a large cafe as well as picnic areas and there is also a fine viewpoint of the River Mino.
