The Royal Pantheon is the final resting place of over twenty monarchs and other royalty. Built in the 11th Century, it formed part of the original church and is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. There are intricate capitals on its marble columns. Well preserved frescoes of biblical and country scenes decorate the vaults. On one of the arches is a calendar of agricultural tasks. There is also a small museum.
