The Church of Saint John the Baptist in the village of Sant Joan de Labritja is a distinctive 18th Century church with a bell tower and tiled cupola. Inside is a barrel vaulted roof and a small dome with images of Christ. The village is the capital of the Sant Joan Municipality in the north of Ibiza and it is in a lovely valley below the Sierra Mala Costa hills. In the 1960s the area was popular with hippies.
