The Saw Mill of Alos d`Isil is in one of the Pallars valleys and it was an important part of the economy of this part of the Pyrennes. It was where the timber was cut into planks ready for the construction of buildings. At this hydrauic saw mill visitors can learn about the process from the time the trees are cut down to the timber`s eventual use. There are also displays of photographs.
