The Tanit Museum is devoted to the folk culture of Lanzarote Island. It is housed in a traditional, old Canary Island house. The collection consists of artefacts used by the inhabitants of the island from early times to the mid 20th Century. Amongst the exhibits are tools, religious artefacts, paintings, furniture, kitchen utensils, clothing, wine making equipment and photographs. There is also a chapel.
