The Isthmus Museum is housed in a building that was once used as a military heaquarters. It was built in the mid 19th Century. Three floors are dedicated to the museum and here you will find artefacts about prehistory and archaeology as well as modern times. The Middle Ages and Modern History are covered and there is an interesting section devoted to the Naval History of the area.
