The Vilalba Prehistory and Archaeology Museum is a municipal foundation devoted to finding, researching, conserving and exhibiting artefacts from the Paleolithic period to Roman times in Galacia. The museum holds a large collection of items from the Paleolithic and Mesolithic eras that have been donated by private collectors. These are in addition to finds from archaeological excavations carried out by the museum`s foundation. Temporary exhibitions are also held here.
