The Arco de la Victoria is a triumphal arch which was erected to celebrate the Nationalist victory in the Spanish Civil War. The white arch stands almost 130 feet high and on its top is a green sculpture of a chariot. It was designed by the architects Pascual Bravo and Modesto Lopez Otero. The arch is on the route used by General Franco from the palace at El Pardo to Madrid.
