The Basilica de la Seu stands high above the town of Manresa. This fine building dates from the early 14th Century when it was built by the architect Berenguer de Montagut who also supervised Santa Maria in Barcelona. It was almost complete by the end of the 14th Century and it is a fine example of Catalan Gothic architecture. The church has a neo-Gothic facade and a beautiful, spacious nave.
