Puerto Mazarron has a number of long beaches composed of dark sand on both sides of a rocky headland. They are linked by a coastal footpath. At the top of the cape is a lighthouse and lovely sea views. There are also a number of rocky coves and the resort is popular with families. It is also a good area for diving. A marina and fishing harbour are located near the headland.
