The holiday resort of Punta Prima is at the south-east tip of Menorca and it is one of the largest beaches on the island. Offshore is the Illa de l`Aire, an uninhabited island with an automatic lighthouse. The choppy channel can be dangerous for swimming but watersports are popular and equipment for windsurfing and kitesurfing can be hired as well as pedalos and sunbeds.
