Benaojan is an attractive Moorish village with views of the limestone mountains of the Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema. In the village centre is the 15th Century Church of Our Lady of Rosario, and nearby is an ancient gateway. The village is known for its sausages produced from pigs reared in the oak forests. There is an easy walk known as The Walk of Mr Henderson`s Railway. It follows a riverside path to the hamlet of Jimar de Libar Estacion.
