The village of Bera is an attractive Basque village in the Valle de Bidasoa, close to the border with France. The town hall has a fascinating facade with depictions of the virtues of Justice, Temperance, Prudence and Fortitude. Other small villages in the valley should be visited, including Lesaka with its beautiful houses with wooden balconies and flowers as well as picturesque Etxalar which has a pink church.
