Boi is a village on the edge of the National Park of Aiguestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. The village with its medieval centre and 12th Century church is a good walking base and only a few kilometres from the park entrance and the waterfalls of Aiguestortes. Established in the mid 20th Century, the park includes 3000 metre high peaks and hundreds of glacial lakes. Amongst the wildlife are chamois, wild boar and eagles. Many kinds of flowers can be seen in spring and early summer.
