Cap de Formentor, at the tip of the rugged Formentor Peninsula, is Mallorca`s most northerly point. The twelve mile drive to the headland from Port de Pollenca is famous for its dramatic scenery, scary bends and mountain tunnel. On the route are several stopping places and at the end of the road is a lighthouse with a bar, and from its terrace are superb views with Menorca visible on a clear day.
