The Jardi Botanic de Cap Roig is a beautiful series of gardens set out on terraces surrounding a 20th Century castle. It is the creation of Nicolai Woevodsky, an exiled Russian colonel and his English wife. Started in 1927, the garden has over one thousand species, including mimosa trees and cedars. There are places where you can sit and admire the beautiful views over the sea. Open-air concerts are held here during the summer months.
