This house and museum was the home of the Spanish writer Miguel de Unamuno who was banished to Fuerteventura Island in 1924 because of his political views. During his exile he became very fond of the island and its people, although he later returned to Spain. Part of the house is furnished with typical pieces of the writer`s time and visitors can see the desk he used and other artefacts.
