The Cathedral Museum contains a varied collection of ecclesiastical treasures and amongst them is a delicate 16th Century gilded silver monstrance. On display is the portable altar of Jaume 1. One of the rooms is devoted to the 14th and 15th Century works of the Mallorcan Primitives, known for their detail and bold colours. In the baroque chapterhouse is a reliquary of the True Cross decorated with precious metals.
