The Church of Nostra Senyora dels Dolors is an impressive 19th Century building on the site of a former mosque. Its clock tower resembles a minaret and it is a local landmark, visible for miles. The church is a place of pilgrimage and inside is a figure of Christ with long hair and white robes. Manacor is one of Mallorca`s largest towns and there are pleasant streets around the church.
