The Church of San Tirso el Real was founded in the 9th Century by Alfonso 11. Since then this attractive church has been refurbished several times but it retains some original features. There are mullioned windows and marble columns with Roman style capitals. The Epistola Chapel is 10th Century whilst the Evangelista Chapel is 16th Century. The church has three naves separated by square columns with rounded and pointed arches.
