The Church of Sant Esteve is known for housing the unusual painting of Christ Bearing the Cross by El Greco. This imposing building stands on the site of an earlier church and dates from the 18th Century. Inside is a magnificent baroque altarpiece by El Roser and some sculptures by Ramon Amadeu. The church is a suitable starting point for the walk to the summit of Montsacopa Volcano.
