The Church of Sant Francesc is in the Baroque style and it was built over several centuries. The building was constructed of a light coloured golden stone. Inside, the nave has a vaulted roof and a flamboyant high altar. The highlight of the church is the octagonal Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Richly decorated in the Baroque style with garlands of roses and vines, it is said to be the work of architect, sculptor and painter Francesc Herrara, who trained in Rome.
