The Gothic Church of Sant Joan Baptista stands in Muro`s main square and it is surrounded by palm trees. The church is connected by a little arch to the tall belfry which once served as a watchtower. Sometimes it is possible to climb to the top. Rebuilt in the 16th Century, the church has stained glass windows, a vaulted roof, baroque furnishings and a large altarpiece.
