The Church of Sant Miquel dates from the 16th Century and it was built on the site of a mosque. The first mass after the conquest of Mallora by Jaume 1 was held here. Inside is a barrel vaulted nave with rib vaulted side chapels. The baroque high altarpiece with an image of St Michael is the work of the religious Spanish painter Francesc Herrera.
