The Circulo de Bellas Artes is a cultural foundation which was established in the late 19th Century. Since the 1920s it has been housed in this impressive Art Deco building designed by Antonio Palacias. It is crowned by the figure of Pallas Athena by Vassallo. Inside are exhibition halls, a theatre and studios used by artists and sculptors. There is a small admission fee. It also has a relaxing cafe.
