The City of Melilla Central Archives have many historical documents from the 18th and 19th centuries. There are also lots of photographs, engravings and nautical charts. Here you will find the Condido Lobera Library which is devoted to local authors and subjects related to Melilla. There is also a technical library and the organization publishes books about the local area. In the building there is also a room dedicated to those involved in research.
