The Concepcion Botanical Gardens were created over one hundred years ago and consist of plants collected from all over the world. The estate covers about fifty hectares and it is now owned by the local authorities. There are many species including palm trees, dragon trees, camellia and rhododendrons. The guided tours last over one hour and takes in a stunning viewpoint and an archaeological museum with mosaics and milestones. The gardens are signposted and are close to a bus stop.
